During its last few years, FACT wanted to help its groups replace the funding that would be lost when FACT left the field. In addition to advocating for its grantees with other funders, the foundation created two projects that combined cash grants and consultant support. These were the Special Financial Assistance Program in 2008, and the Fundraising Assistance Project in 2010 and 2011.
