Periodically, organizations need to focus internally to ensure that their structures, programs and administrative practices are appropriate to their stages of development and are working together to advance their missions. Giving organizations the opportunity and tools to focus inward is at the core of FACT's Strengthening Organizations program.

In 2010, we committed approximately 38% of our funds to strengthening organizations.

Two core tenets of our program are:

It is voluntary. Funding or services are provided in response to a request initiated by a grantee.
There is confidentiality. If a grantee uses one of our MAP consultants, we have strict confidentiality between consultants and FACT program staff.
